Welcome to the Ottawa Good Food Box.
We are a non-profit community-based initiative bringing neighbours together to buy a variety of delicious and nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables at wholesale prices. Our goal is to purchase food that is in season and is grown as close to home as possible.
It works like a large buying club with centralized buying and coordination. And it’s open to everyone – with no membership fees.
Are you looking to use the concepts you learned during your degree and get more experience in research and related activities? Are you lookingto be more involved with the community and be part of a project that is meaningful, positive & innovative?
The Healthy People, Healthy Communities Project is an academic-community partnership between the University of Ottawa, the Ottawa Good Food Box and the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health. We are looking to hire someone to help with project-related activities.
